Some things feel too heavy to keep carrying alone. Let’s make space for ease — in your time, in your way.

About

I’m Linda (She/Her), Canadian Certified Counsellor, EMDR Therapist and Brainspotting Practitioner (in certification process), based online in Coquitlam, BC.

You’ve tried talking it through, but something still feels stuck deep inside. If that resonates, you’ve come to the right place. I offer experiential therapies like Brainspotting and EMDR help you move beyond insight into real, embodied healing from distressing experiences, depression, burnout and more. I’m here to honour your story, support your growth and make space for all of you, so you don’t have to do it alone.

My Counselling Approach

My approach is collaborative, strength-based, anti-oppressive and affirming. Expect sessions with me to be a place where you can breathe and feel seen. A safe connection is the base from which you can start the work of healing, and that’s what I strive to create. I invite every client to show up exactly as they are. However you need to be, I’ll meet you with curiosity, compassion, and a bit of lightness to the hard stuff, creating room for both healing and hope.

My Intersections & Values

As a cisgender, neurodivergent woman born to immigrant parents from Hong Kong, and who also lives with chronic illness, I have a lived understanding of how systems of oppression interconnect and influence a person’s story. As such, I bring an intersectional lens that’s rooted in mutual liberation and social justice, and hold space for how systems can create discord with your authentic self, needs and desires.

Why This Work Matters to Me

Having sat in the client chair, as well as having navigated challenges in our healthcare system, I understand the profound difference compassionate, skilled support can make. I’m passionate about offering that same care to others. It’s an honour to do this work, and I’m so grateful to walk alongside the people who invite me into their lives.

Outside the Therapy Room

Outside of work, you can find me up in the mountains climbing or hiking, doting on my ever-growing jungle of houseplants, or hanging out with animals (the soft ones, and yes, occasionally the prickly ones too).
